Redirection to my dynamically assigned IP with No-IP
I found No-IP.com recently. It solved the problem of running a server with dynamic ip addresses that I mentioned in a previous post. No-ip.com gives a free subdomain like 'yourname.no-ip.com' which will redirect to your ip-address. There is also available a 'Dynamic Update Client' to manage dynamic ip-addresses. It is a software that runs on your computer and updates the dns servers each time you connect to the internet. It can be started manually or set to run automatically. Now I don't have to type ip-address each time I want access my computer from outside.
I cannot tell you the web-address for my computer here as I have limited bandwidth and there may be many security vulnerabilities.
