Creating a nameless folder and making it invisible
Here is a method I read in an online forum to create a folder with a blank name and make it invisible by changing the icon.
First create a new folder. Right click on the folder and click rename. Erase the name of the folder so that there is nothing there. Now hold down the ALT key and press 0160 on the number pad (make sure Num Lock is on), release ALT.

Now you should have a folder with nothing but a blank name. To make it invisible you have to change the icon to a blank one.

Right click on the folder and click properties. On the customize tab you will find the change icon button. Press the button and select an icon that has no image. Hit OK and your folder will be invisible. But the folder is still there and you can select it and open it.
